Salisbury FC Under 17’s Awards Night
Last weekend Salisbury Football Club’s under 17’s team had their well deserved awards night at the RayMac.
this season has been a very long and tough season for the team and all topped off with GCSE’s. The club said “that it was lovely to see the boys together having fun and finally being able to relax without having to worry about an up coming game or about their exams“.
The whole team received their winners medals for winning the Testway division 1 league.
Individual trophies where then rewarded to members of the team including Nathan for being the most improved player from the season, Alfie for clubman, Marvin for being the teams top scorer, Josh for having the most assists and Jacob was rewarded the players player of the season, and Henry received the coaches player.
The team have shouted out a member of team due to the player getting injured in January. But despite this he still attended every game. His support and commitment to the team is unwavering showing that he is extremely dedicated. He along with the team and supporters should be really proud of him for keeping up the moral.
Well done for showing huge determination, commitment and grit this season you are a credit to the club. Salisbury Football Club wouldn’t be the same without a great youth team.
Obviously the team couldn’t have done it all by themselves so well done to all the coaches and we can’t forget about the unsung heroes. The taxi drivers or as most people know them by the parents for having to transport all the boys between counties for training and matches.
Well done boys keep up the good work.
